PERSON STATS

  ALLEN, Oliver
Born On 07/09/1986  England
Player

Son of Spurs legend Clive, big things were expected of the young striker when he signed for Barnet in January 2007 from Premier League side, Birmingham City.

At Birmingham, Allen hadnt broken into the first team, but been prolific in the reserves. His early Barnet career suggested wed found a gem. Four goals in four games; Swindon (H), Walsall (A), Wrexham (H) and Stockport (H). However, this spell was to prove to be a false dawn. It was to prove, well, it.

Ollie didnt score any other goals in his other 10 appearances in Barnet colours and was shown the door by Paul Fairclough in May 2007. Stevenage signed him shortly after, but after one full season the, he retired from football due to persistent knee problems. In January 2009 he made a return to the game part-time. He has since turned out for Thurrock and Billericay Town.
