PERSON STATS

  MADDIX, Danny
Born In Ashford On 11/10/1967  England
Joined On 12/07/2003 Player Left: 22/12/2004

Veteran Danny joined Barnet after leaving Sheffield Wednesday in July 2003.

Maddix brought a wealth of Premier League experience with him, as well as Championship football the season before he came to Barnet.  However, the Danny Maddix Barnet signed was by no means the same player he once was. The legs had gone and it really showed. He did put in some good performances, but players like Chris Plummer and Simon King were vital support Maddix needed.

He was in the first team for most of 2003/04, but on the fringes the following year, before leaving the club in December 2004. This was to prove the end of Danny Maddixs playing career. It looked for a while as if he may get into management, having taking joint-charge of the Bees for one game with Ian Hendon in between Allen going and Fairclough arriving, but as yet, he has not, only coaching at Sunday league level.
