PERSON STATS

  ANSELL, Gary
Born On 08/11/1978  England
Player

Gary was a striker who arrived at Barnet from non-league side Barking in the summer of 1999. He made a goal scoring start at Underhill in a pre-season friendly at home to Luton Town. Scoring from the penalty spot in a 1-0 win.

He bore an uncanny resemblence to Bees favourite Scott McGleish, but sadly did not enjoy such a prosperous Barnet career. He managed a few substitute appearances during the 1999/2000 season, before dropping back into non-league where he went on to enjoy a successful period at Chelmsford City.
